Hello, I was wondering what is the length of the push frame for a snow plow on an Arctic Cat TRV from the back of the 'A' arm cross member to the front of the front plate of the frame, reason being is I have one that fits my bike but was for Polaris and might be too long? Mine is 49" straight from front to back support, anybody got theirs close by??
Thanks

Hi, Just got my new Arctic Cat 550TRv and it was continually stalling after it warmed up, the fan seemed to run way too long as well. When I checked the coolant level the Rad was empty, I had to add 3L of coolant, I paid $250 to the dealer in PEI for the PDI ... When I got the bike it had 10 Kilometres on it, I put about 5K more on it before the stalling got to me, basically every time I came to a stop. After I filled the Rad it seemed to work OK but I'm worried about how long it may have been run at the dealership and home here without coolant and maybe overheating the head (takes a long time to put 10K on a bike moving it in and out of the showroom). There was also a 'VOLT' alarm on the display which seemed to go away after I charged the battery! Looking for some advice before I call the dealer or the area Rep and he tells me "that'll never hurt this machine, just forget about it"
They also wired my heated grips so there's power to them even with the key off... Thanks

Well I am buying a quad within the next 2 months (I am hoping).. So I just want to find out where the riding area are in the Durham and surrounding area and Peterborough and surround area...
I live in Whitby and Summer Vacation (trailer park) in Ennismore (Near Bridgenorth and Peterborough)... So I am looking for trails and riding areas that are close to where I live and vacation.. I wanna know all the places regardless of if it is crown land or paid trails..
I know there is Ganaraska and I know the Raglan and Burkton Pits are close.. Now the Pit's I don't know if you can use that anymore or not..
Anyone have a list of places to go??

Ok I have narrowed my 2 choices of ATV's... I have read post on here and all over the internet.. I have viewed videos on YouTube.. Read the model pamphlet book and so on... I still am having a time landing a solid choice so I was hoping maybe to get input from people who have had both of these in the past and can compare both models.. Or from people who maybe own the 2010's of both already and can just list likes/dislikes of then machine you own..
I checked out this video Can-Am vs Polaris , It just makes it looks like the Sportsmans dominates the Outlander by a huge amount.. Like it makes me wonder.. Is the Sportsman the GOD of ATV's.. It just makes it seem like the perfect ATV. So there is what makes me wanna get some thoughts from owners on the website..
Also, Does anyone use tracks in the Ontario province, specifically the Toronto/Durham area?? Are thess things really worth the $3000/4000 in this part of the country?? Or would the money be better spent elsewhere??
The machines I am looking at are the 2010 Can-Am Outlander 800 XT-P (MSRP $13,499) and the 2010 Polaris Sportsman 850 XP EPS (MSRP $12,199).. So there is a $1300 difference in the Manufactors price..
Now the models might change depending on budget etc... But those are the ones I am aiming for anyhow...
Thanks for the advice....

Ok I have been looking at getting an ATV for sometime now, but I have been waiting for a friend to get one so that I would have someone to ride with.. So now my friend is looking as well so within the next few months we hope to make some purchases.. Now I have narrowed down my choices.. I would just like to get some further input from experianced riders..
I have decicded on either an outlander or sportsman.. Now I am debating between the 800's or 500's.. I am a man of speed (I have had a Kawi ZXR636 and Gixxer 750).. I am going to basically doing trail riding and mudding.. Nothing too serious right now and I probably won't be beating the crap out of the machine.. (that could and probably will change I am sure)...
Now the one issue I have with the Sportsman machine is the AWD style of 4x4.. I don't really like the idea of not being able to put it into 4x4 when I want.. From what I read and see it seems to work good and I guess if experianced rides dont have a problem with that, then I shouldn't I guess.. So I guess overall the Sportsman is a very good machine..
I basically like everything about the Outlanders so far from what I read.. Good warrenty and everything..
What are your thoughts and experiances??
Also where is a good place to buy ATV's in Ontario (Toronto Area).. I live in Whitby.. So I know Bennett's is here for Bombardier (they want $10,200 if we buy 2 2009 Outlander 800's brand new).. Considering they are selling the 2010 500 for the same I think its good.. Is this the going rate or too much??
Any help would be appreciated.. If you need any more info let me know
Thanks
